The Siragusa Family Foundation

Helping underserved people in the Chicago area help themselves and experience a better quality of life.

Our Giving Priorities

The Siragusa Family Foundation, established in 1950 by Ross D. Siragusa, is a private family foundation that is committed to honoring its founder by sustaining and developing Chicago’s extraordinary nonprofit resources. Our mission is to help underserved people in the Chicago area help themselves and experience a better quality of life. Learn about our grantees.
In 2026, the Foundation launched a new primary giving priority: Youth Development.
Within this funding focus, there are three giving areas: Arts Learning, Academic enrichment, and Wellness.
The Siragusa Family Foundation is committed to the social emotional development and enrichment of youth in pre-K through 12th grade. We prioritize partnering with organizations providing programs that are equitable, culturally relevant, and responsive. Our grantmaking is primarily place based, supporting nonprofits serving schools and in partnership with community in Chicago’s disinvested neighborhoods.
