The Justice Program at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services
April 2009

The Chancery Court Access to Justice Program at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) was created to help low-income individuals who are on the verge of losing their homes due to foreclosure. Volunteer attorneys represent clients struggling to stay in their homes and help them sort through the court documents and complicated court proceedings. The program assists individuals dealing with mortgage fraud, predatory lending, rising rates on adjustable rate mortgages and home equity loans. Find out more at www.cvls.org.
